Progress on Status and Conservation of Bos Species Germplasm Resources in China
As one of the countries with the richest Bos species genetic resources in the world,the protection and utilization of the germplasm resources in China are of great significance for the sustainable development of the livestock industry. This article re-views the current status of the Bos germplasm resources in China,the progress of the germplasm characteristics,and the status of the germplasm resource protection. It reorganizes the overall situation of Bos germplasm resources in China and introduces the progress of conservation work for local breeds in recent years. In order to put forward constructive suggestions to improving the protection and development and utilization of local resources.
