Study on Relationship and Evolution Characteristics of Intensive Land-Use and Carbon Emission of Guanzhong Urban Agglomeration
The purpose of this paper is to study the relationship between intensive land-use and carbon emission, and then to figure out the evolution characteristics.Decoupling analysis and panel data model were used in this paper. The results show that:1)during 2000 to 2004,the average levels of intensive land-use and carbon emission in Guanzhong urban agglomeration increased and the gaps among cities were significant;2)the intensive land-use and carbon emission of Guanzhong urban agglomeration have not decoupled yet;3)in Guanzhong urban agglomeration,an inverted N-type EKC curve of the relationship between the intensive land-use and carbon emissions emerged. When the landuse intensity reached the threshold, carbon emissions gradually diminished and then tend to moderate. In conclusion, the intensive land-use and carbon emission of Guanzhong urban agglomeration are neither decoupled nor reached the threshold.Hence, low carbon intensive land-use remains to be further optimized.
