Research on the Inf luencing Mechanism and Threshold Effect of Rural Digital Transformation on Cultivated Land Green Use Efficiency
The purpose of this study is to scientifically explore the influencing mechanism of rural digital transformation on cultivated land green use efficiency,to provide the theoretical basis for promoting rural digital transformation and empowering green production of cultivated land. The research methods include unexpected output SBM model,Tobit regression model and panel threshold regression model. The results indicate that:1)the average green use rate of cultivated land in China increased from 0.628 in 2011 to 0.845 in 2021,with an average annual growth rate of 2.17%.The spatial pattern showed a decreasing order of"eastern, western, and central"and"main grain sales areas, production and sales balance areas, and main grain production areas".2)The average level of rural digital transformation increased from 0.127 in 2011 to 0.259 in 2021,with an average annual growth rate of 10.49%.In terms of space,a decreasing and unbalanced pattern of"eastern, central, and western"and"main grain sales areas, main grain production areas, and production sales balance areas"occurred.3)The digital transformation of rural areas in China had a significant promoting effect on improving cultivated land green use efficiency, showing regional heterogeneity. The promoting effect of rural digital transformation in the eastern and central regions was more significant than that in the western regions, and the main grain producing areas and production sales balance areas were more significant than the main grain sale areas.4)As the level of rural digital transformation exceeded the threshold value of 0.261,the promotion effect on cultivated land green use efficiency showed a single threshold non-linear characteristic of diminishing marginal effects. In conclusion, the long-term driving path to achieve cultivated land green use is to establish a collaborative sharing network that empowers digital technology for cultivated land green use among regions, expand the mitigating effect of digital technology on environmental pollution in cultivated land use,and connect the digital cultivation needs of cultivated land use entities.
