How does the"Standard Land"Supply Reform Affect Efficiency of Industrial Land Use
The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of the"standard land"supply reform on the efficiency of industrial land use in China,to provide insights for the optimal allocation of industrial land resources. The research methods are as follows. The Super SBM-Undesirable model is used to measure the efficiency of industrial land use.And a quasi-natural experiment is conducted across 275 cities from 2013 to 2021,using a staggered difference-in-differences(DID)model to probe the causal effect of the"standard land"supply reform on land use efficiency. The results show that:1)during the research period, the implementation of"standard land"supply reform has significantly promoted the improvement in industrial land use efficiency.2)The implementation of"standard land"supply reform has a cumulative effect on the improvement of industrial land use efficiency.3)The"standard land"supply reform has a significant heterogeneity in improving industrial land use efficiency, with a more significant positive effect in central and western regions and manufacturing dependent cities. In conclusion,it is recommended that local governments should deepen the market-based allocation reform of land resources.By continuing the implementation of the"standard land"supply reform adapted to local conditions, the efficiency of industrial land use can be increased, contributing to the high-quality development of manufacturing industry.
