Whether the Development of Digital Economy Can Alleviate the Misallocation of Industrial Land Resources
The purpose of this study is to explore the effects and mechanisms of digital economy on the misallocation of industrial land resources,to provide decision-making reference for deepening the market-oriented allocation reform of industrial land resources and for further promoting the high-quality development of industrial economy. The research method is to conduct regression analysis using a two-way fixed effects model and a mediation effect model. This research results show that:1)the development of digital economy has inhibited the misallocation of industrial land resources, which is held after a series of robustness tests.2)Digital economy has inhibited the misallocation of industrial land resources through two channels of improving green total factor productivity and upgrading industrial structure.3)The effect of digital economy is stronger in cities with a lower degree of marketization and larger scale of Internet development as well as in excessive mismatch and non-resource cities.4)The inhibitory effect of digital economy on the misallocation of industrial land resources weakens with the decrease of mismatch degree. It has promoted the adjustment of land transfer structure towards increasing the proportion of commercial and residential land.In conclusion,we should further strengthen the construction of digital economic infrastructure, enhance the enabling effect of the digital economy, coordinate the spatial layout of digital industries across the country, and fully leverage digital technologies to correct the misallocation of industrial land resources.
