The purpose of this study is to assess the policy effects of rural residential land reform on urban-rural integration, taking Yujiang District in Jiangxi Province as an example. The research methods are as follows. The synthetic control method was used to assess the role of rural residential land reform in promoting urban-rural integration, and the"three-step method"was used to test the mediating role played by the complementarity of the three factors of labor-land-capital.The research results show that rural residential land reform significantly improves the level of urban-rural integration in Yujiang District, but the magnitude of the improvement shows an inverted U-shaped pattern of change.Rural residential land reform in Yujiang District promotes the level of urban-rural integration through the facilitation of urban-rural labor, land, and capital factor mobility and reorganization, but the effect degree of each factor combination is not the same.In Yujiang District, the rural residential land reform promotes urban-rural integration by promoting the flow and reorganization of urban and rural labor, land and capital factors. In conclusion, rural residential land reform is an effective means to optimize the allocation of land resources, and it can promote the synergistic linkage of urban and rural human-land-industry factors;in the future,it is necessary to optimize the combination of factors of production, shift the inflection point of the marginal effect of the policy backward, and synergistically put forward a number of reform measures,to leverage the policy's multiple effects and realize the integrated development of urban and rural areas.
