Effect of Polycentric Structure of Cities on Land Use Efficiency
The purpose of this paper is to explore the impact of the development of the polycentric structure of cities on land use efficiency,to provide theoretical support and path reference for promoting the efficient use of land resources from the perspective of optimizing the spatial pattern of urbanization. The research methods include the SBM model of non-expected output super-efficiency,fixed effect model and moderating effect model. The results show that:1)the influence of the polycentric structure of cities on land use efficiency is U-shaped,which is firstly inhibited and then promoted, and this effect is realized through the nonlinear influence of the polycentric structure of cities on urban technological innovation level and the allocative efficiency of production factor.2)In different locations, different periods and different cities, the influence of polycentric structure of cities on land use efficiency is heterogeneous.3)Urban size has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between polycentric structure of cities and land use efficiency.4)There is a U-shaped relationship between polycentric structure of cities and land use efficiency in urban agglomerations, while there is a positive correlation in provinces. In general, local governments should choose their own spatial development plans, leverage the important role of technological innovation and resource allocation, and accelerate the improvement in land use efficiency and the optimization of territorial space system.
