An Examination of the Layout Optimization of Forest and Farmland and Its Impact on System Resilience:Evidence from Yongkang City,Zhejiang Province
The purpose of the study is to explore the impact of spatial layout optimization on the resilience of both farmland and forest systems from a suitability perspective of the optimization potential of farmland and forest layout. The research methods of random forest classification, suitability evaluation and systematic resilience evaluation are employed. The research results show that:1)there is high potential for spatial layout optimization of forest and farmland in Yongkang City.2)Under the principles of suitability improvement and area balance,80.81%of farmland on steep slope can be replaced spatially with flat forest.3)Optimizing the layout of forest and farmland enhances the resistance and adaptability of farmland system and the resistance and stability of forest system, while it also leads to a decrease in farmland stability and forest adaptability. In conclusion, the spatial layout optimization of forest and farmland should be implemented, considering its suitability.Additionally,it's crucial to integrate improvement of utilization conditions with use control to minimize disruptions to system resilience.
