Risk Evaluation,Prevention and Control Strategy of Farmland Marginalization in Mountainous Village Areas:A Case Study of Shepeng Village,Guizhou Province
The purposes of this study are to investigate the risk evaluation and prevention and control strategy of farmland marginalization from the micro perspective,to provide the reference for the protection of cultivated land use, food security and sustainable development of agriculture in mountainous areas. The research methods include comprehensive evaluation, buffer zone analysis and triangular coordinate graph analysis. The results show that:1) the high risk of farmland marginalization in Shepeng Village based on farming conditions, natural suitability and opportunity cost dimensions accounted for 6.03%,7.39% and 16.16%,respectively,which were dominated by the opportunity cost risk, the distribution of various types of risk differed significantly and mainly occurred in the range of sloping cultivated land, and were closely related to the type of parcel of land, the distance of cultivation and the degree of slope, etc. 2) The prevention and control of the risk of farmland marginalization in Shepeng village mainly existed in three types,i.e.,stable food production protection type, policy protection promotion type and economic benefit enhancement type, corresponding to the prevention and control of the sub-area accounted for 19.88%,44.62% and 33.50%,respectively. 3) The prevention and control of the risk of farmland marginalization in mountainous areas was a multi-body participatory and marginalization risk prevention and control project of "regional coordination-village control-farmer mobilization",which was a "early warning-regulation-control-control" project. In conclusion, the prevention and control of the risk of farmland marginalization in mountainous areas should focus on highlighting the positioning of food production of concentrated farmland in the region, increasing the policy protection of poor-quality farmland in villages, and stimulating the economic vitality of scattered farmland of farmers.
