Investigation Report on"The Construction of Northern Ecological SecurityBarrier in Inner Mongolia to Ensure National Ecological Security"
President Xi Jinping pointed out that building a strong ecological security barrier in the north of Chi-na is one of the country's top priorities that Inner Mongolia must bear in mind.In recent years,the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has resolutely shouldered the political responsibility,continued to strengthen the ideological and action consciousness of building the important ecological security barrier in the north of our country,constantly innovated ideas and measures,continued to act strictly and quickly,comprehensively rectified various ecological environmental problems,and achieved phrased results in the construction of the important ecological security barrier in northern China.However,there are also problems,such as the need to strengthen ecological construction in key regions,the difficulty of ecological environment remediation,the prominent contradiction between supply and de-mand of water resources,the challenge of green and low-carbon transformation,and the funds lack of follow-up management and protection due to the increasing afforestation costs.Therefore,the following suggestions are put forward:we should fully understand the important role and significance of the construction of northern ecological barrier in Inner Mongolia to ensure national ecological security;taking"three screens,three sources,three corri-dors and one bend"as the focus,we need to build the Inner Mongolia ecological barrier construction pattern;the third is to scientifically determine the main tasks of ecological barrier construction in northern Inner Mongolia;The fourth is to implement President Xi's relevant instructions to build an all-round ecological security barrier in the north.
