The Investigation Report on Paired Democratic Supervision of Environmental Protection the Yangtze River between China Zhigong Party and Anhui Province(The Third Report)
In order to do a good job of democratic supervision of the environmental protection of the Yangtze River,in the early of June,the Central Committee of the Zhigong Party set up a research group to go to Maanshan and Hefei in Anhui Province to carry out an investigation of"Paired Democratic Supervision of Environmental Pro-tection the Yangtze River between China Zhigong Party and Anhui Province".According to the research,there are still problems.Foe example,the continuous improvement of ecological environment quality is still under great pres-sure,water environment quality is still unstable,and ecological environment security risks still exist.We advise Anhui Province to:adhere to the leadership of President Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought,address the structural root causes of the Yangtze River protection,promote the overall protection and restoration of the Yangtze River Basin,continuously improve and stabilize the quality of the water environment,coordinate ecological protec-tion and basin-wide governance,promote the fundamental improvement of the water environment quality of Chaohu Lake,continue to strengthen comprehensive environmental governance,consolidate the effectiveness of governance,reduce ecological and environmental risks,pay attention to the cultivation of ecological culture and increase the public's participation in the Yangtze River protection.
