Investigation Sub-report of Guangdong on Recommendations for Improving Provincial Basic Institutions and Addressing Obstacles in the Construction of a National Unified Market
Accelerating the establishment of a national unified market is a significant initiative made by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core,from a strategic and ho-listic perspective.It is a powerful support for constructing a new development pattern and promoting high-quality development.Following the issuance of the"Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of a National Unified Mar-ket"by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council,the Guangdong Provincial Committee and Provincial Government have attached great importance to this initiative and have promulgated the"Work Plan for Implementing the Construction of a National Unified Market in Guangdong Province."Additionally,an inter-departmental joint meeting system has been established to promote the construction of a national unified market at the provincial level.A provincial work promotion meeting for the unified market construction has also been convened to build consensus and deploy relevant work,aiming to enhance market integration within the prov-ince and achieving phased progress.This research group conducted an investigation focused on"improving our province's basic institutions and addressing obstacles in the construction of a national unified market."Discussions were held with the Provincial Development and Reform Commission,Department of Science and Technology,De-partment of Human Resources and Social Security,Department of Commerce,Administration for Market Regula-tion,Government Services and Data Management Bureau,and Local Financial Regulatory Bureau to understand the progress and challenges encountered in eliminating obstacles to the construction of a national unified market in our province,and to propose countermeasures and suggestions.
