Innovative Study on and Practice for High-quality Development of Railway Tunnels
Since the 21st century,China has witnessed fast advancements and remarkable progress in the realm of railway tunnels,encompassing development in design theories and methods,standard systems,risk management,disaster prevention and rescue,and construction technology.Many iconic tunnel projects have been successfully completed,providing strong support for the rapid development of China's railway network and building China's strength in transportation.Building upon a comprehensive review of the accomplishments in railway tunnel construction within China,this paper systematically elucidates the importance of fostering high-quality development of railway tunnels,focusing on intrinsic safety,construction effficiency,works quality,and green and low-carbon practices.Furthermore,it puts forward a technical path to developing new quality productive forces and supporting high-quality development.To further enhance China's railway tunnel construction capacity,the concept of developing modem railway tunnels with attributes emphasizing safety,efficiency,structural robustness,aesthetic appeal,environmental protection,and intelligence is proposed.Improving mechanized construction capabilities,promoting the active support system,implementing the large-section construction methodology,and enhancing the capacity in informatization and intelligent construction are identified as main focus to expedite the creation of new quality productive forces,intensify efforts towards fostering the high-quality development of railway tunnels,and provide a robust foundation for establishing modern railway infrastructure networks.
