In-depth Reasearch on General Layout Plan of Nanjing Railway Hub
Guided by upper-level plans like the Outline on Building China's Strength in Transportation,existing problems within the Nanjing railway hub are put forward from the perspective of international transportation,domestic medium-distance and long-distance transportation,the Nanjing metropolitan area,and the development of a hub passenger and freight transportation system.Through an examination of short-term and long-term passenger flows at the hub,this study delves into the railway network's composition.It proposes an optimization solution for the general layout plan of the Nanjing railway hub concerning international and domestic transportation,river-crossing passages,and adaptation of the passenger station responsibilities.The ultimate goal is to create a leading domestic and world-class railway hub.Quantitative analysis reveals that after the hub is optimized,relevant railway stations,sectional tracks,and river-crossing passages can meet long-term transportation needs.This optimization is expected to significantly advance the construction of international and domestic transportation systems while fostering the growth of the metropolitan area.
