Enhancement Plan for Video Monitoring System and Upgrade Scheme for Railway 5G-R and Supporting Facilities of Existing Railways
In accordance with the requirements set by China State Railway Group Co.,Ltd.,it is essential to enhance the video monitoring system of the existing railways and upgrade the current private mobile communication system to 5G-R,thus,to ensure the safety of railway transportation while accommodating the evolution of modern communication systems.The upgrade schemes for both systems are somewhat aligned,and during the upgrade process,enhancements and upgrade will also be made to supporting facilities,including the bearer network,optical cables,power supplies,and equipment rooms.Upgrade plans are developed for both systems in line with China State Railway Group Co.,Ltd.'s technical requirements,taking into account various typical line conditions,such as operational speeds of 200-350 km/h and C3 and non-C3 train control levels.Through comparative analysis,the similarities and differences in the upgrade processes for the two systems were identified,leading to the proposal of a coordinated upgrade scheme for the supporting facilities.The findings of this study can serve as a reference for future similar upgrade projects.
