Analysis on Key Load Characteristics of Rack Rail System under the Influence of Rack Joint Impact
The rack joint impact directly acts on the vehicle-track coupling system,which can significantly change the load characteristics of the system.In order to explore the influence of rack joint impact on key load characteristics of track system,firstly,a vehicle-track coupling dynamics model of rack railway is established based on the theory of vehicle-track coupling dynamics;secondly,the quantitative relationship between pitch deviation at rack joint and out-of-line meshing impact force is analyzed based on gear meshing characteristics;finally,the load characteristics of track system at rack joint under different train operation speeds are analyzed.The study indicates that the pitch deviation at the rack joint and the train operation speed have a significant influence on load characteristics of the rack rail system.In order to prevent yield deformation at the rack joint,it is recommended that the pitch deviation at the rack joint should be less than 4 mm when the train operation speed is 30 km/h.The study results can provide a theoretical reference for the O&M department to formulate maintenance standards for rack railway.
