Foreign Language Teachers'Assessment Literacy and Practical Strategies of Curriculum-Based Ideological-Political Education
Assessment poses the biggest challenge for ELT teachers in Curriculum-Based Ideological-Political Education(CBIPE).The high-quality CBIPE development is highly consistent with the concept of foreign language assessment for learning(AfL).This paper first discusses the rationale for foreign language AfL in CBIPE,and then analyzes the typical problems emerging from contestants'teaching plans in national CBIPE Foreign Language Teaching Plan competition.Finally,three key assessment strategies are proposed to implement foreign language AfL in CBIPE,namely,clarifying the objectives,selecting appropriate tasks and tools,and providing timely feedback.CBIPE has brought new dimensions to foreign language assessment,and foreign language teachers should enhance their assessment literacy in CBIPE.
