Exploring the Origins of State Translation Thoughts as a Research Project:Fundamental Topics and Methodological Principles
The state translation studies,as a research field,has formed a self-consistent conceptual system and preliminary research framework after years of development.To further its disciplinary construction,it is necessary to acquire knowledge,discursive,and intellectual resources from history so that we can inherit time-honored tradition of state translation,develop the historical logic of and establish the legitimacy for state translation studies.Exploring the origins of state translation thoughts,as a research project,takes"state-orientedness"as the overarching cognitive framework,exploring the knowledge lineage,genesis mechanism and evolutionary path of state translation thoughts so as to provide intellectual support for the construction of historical knowledge,discourse,and logic for state translation studies.This paper gives a tentative definition of state translation thought and analyzes the research framework and methodological principles of the project,with the purpose to strengthen the construction of the theoretical system for state translation studies.
