Corpus Triangulation,as an emerging multivariate research method that combines corpus and triangulation,is aiming at verifying,enriching and developing the understanding of a particular phenomenon,and thus has begun to attract the attention and application of scholars abroad.In view of this,the present article attempts to systematically introduce the theoretical basis and the main contents of corpus triangulation,and then looks forward to its further development on this basis.It is pointed out that corpus triangulation has great potential for development since it can integrate various advantages and fully grasp the research objects.Although the current research on corpus triangulation is still in its infancy,its obvious advantages and broad research and application prospects deserve further attention from scholars at home and abroad.
