Artificial Intelligence and Foreign Language and Literature Discipline
Recent years have witnessed the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology and its increasingly wide use in work,study and daily life.In this context,artificial intelligence not only poses challenges but also brings opportunities to foreign language and literature discipline.On the one hand,the use of artificial intelligence reduces the demand for talents of foreign language and literature discipline,and alters the mode and subjects of foreign language education.On the other hand,the use of artificial intelligence can promote the intelligent,automated and visualized teaching of foreign languages,and create new job opportunities.In spite of many challenges it faces,foreign language and literature discipline encounters significant opportunities and possesses values and functions that cannot be replaced by artificial intelligence.Instead,the discipline will achieve sustainable development as long as we attach importance to its scientific and humanistic aspects by offering courses or programs related to artificial intelligence or the humanities,and promote the use of artificial intelligence in foreign language teaching and research.
