The development of new quality productive forces is the inevitable demand for high-quality development in today's society.Foreign language education must re-examine the essence of the discipline and adjust the cultivation goals of fostering foreign language talents to meet the demand of new quality productive forces.This paper calls for a re-examination of the meaning of language learning in the era of digital intelligence,and proposes new quality foreign language education.We rethink the purpose of foreign language education,and advocate that foreign language education should return to the nature of language practices,the nature of cultural roots,and the nature of humanism.Finally,this paper takes individual differences research as a case example,and discusses how to reconstruct research practices of foreign language education and language acquisition from a human-centered perspective.
