Risk Analysis of Diagnosis and Prevention and Control of Epidemic Diarrhea in a Large-Scale Pig Farm
On February 4th,2022,pregnant sows in a large-scale pig farm in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region successively showed clinical symptoms of watery diarrhea,no or less feeding. On February 6th,2022,piglets in the delivery room appeared vomiting, watery diarrhea, fear of cold piling up,severe dehydration, and rapid transmission.Swine epidemic diarrhea was diagnosed by rapid detection of kits and laboratory tests.According to the test results, the pig herds were given emergency vaccination and drug treatment, and the risk points of prevention and control were analyzed in the occurrence and development process of the epidemic. It was found that there were large risk points in biosafety. After rectification and strict biosafety management measures were taken, the incidence of sows was alleviated, the number of piglets with diarrhea decreased, the herd tended to be stable, and the production performance gradually re-covered.Through the analysis and discussion of this case,it provided clinical experience for the discovery and prevention and control of porcine epidemic diarrhea in large-scale pig farms, enhanced the awareness of risk early warning of epidemic diarrhea, and improved the risk early warning mechanism of epidemic diarrhea in large-scale pig farms.
