Analysis of Metabolite Differences Between Landrace and Tibetan Pigs at Different Days of Age and between Species
In order to study the relationship between the difference of metabolome and the character of tolerance to coarseness between Landrace and Tibetan pigs, the study of metabolomics was done in different growth stages of Landrace and Tibetan pigs.UPLC-MS technique was used to study the metabolomics of 7-day-old and 30-day-old Landrace and Tibetan pigs feces samples, analyzed the changes of metabolites and screened the differential metabolites. The results showed that there were 99 kinds metabolite with variable importance in projection(VIP)≥1 at different ages of Landrace, among them,38 kinds of metabolite were increasing, while the other 61 kinds metabolite were mainly decreasing.A total of 90 kinds metabolite with VIP≥ 1 at different days of age in Tibetan pigs.among them,31 kinds of metabolite were increasing, while the other 59 kinds metabolite showed a decreasing trend. There were a total of 59 kinds metabolite with VIP ≥1 in the comparison of 7-day-old Landrace and Tibetan pig metabolites,of which the proportions of 29 kinds metabolite showed a predominantly increasing trend and the other 30 kinds showed a decreasing trend.A total of 66 kinds metabolites with VIP ≥1 were compared between Landrace and Tibetan pigs at 30 days of age, including 32 kinds of metabolite were rising, the other 34 kinds metabolite were decreasing. The result showed that there were differences in metabolite contents between species and age, with the most differences in metabolites between the same species at different ages, suggested that there were differences in the ability of pigs to digest and metabolize crude feed such as crude fiber as they age.The analysis of metabolic pathways showed that the main metabolic pathways with differences were Metabolic pathways,ABC transporters and the metabolites involved in the metabolic pathways with differences were mainly organic acids, nucleotides and amino acid related metabolites, which indicated that there was a certain correlation between the roughage tolerance characteristics of Tibetan and Landrace pigs and the effects of roughage on the in-testinal tract. This study provided a theoretical basis for explaining the characteristics of crude feeding tolerance of Tibetan pigs in terms of metabonomics.
