Research Progress on Molecular Detection Methods for Transmissible Gastroen-teritis Virus
Transmissible gastroenteritis was a highly contagious enteric infection caused by the transmissible gastroenteritis virus(TGEV),which had caused significant losses to the global swine industry.Accurate detection of TGEV was of great theoretical and practical sig-nificance for the scientific prevention and control of transmissible gastroenteritis. In view of this, the authors reviewed the research progress of molecular detection methods for TGEV in the past decade, including immunological detection methods(enzyme-linked im-munosorbent assays, immunofluorescence method, immunoenzyme histochemistry, immunosensor system),reverse transcription poly-merase chain reaction(RT-PCR)-based methods(conventional RT-PCR,nested RT-PCR,multiplex RT-PCR,RT-qPCR,multiplex RT-qPCR,nanoPCR),isothermal amplification assays(loop-mediated isothermal amplification, recombinase polymerase amplification,recombinase-aided amplification, insulated isothermal RT-PCR),and chip methods(liquid-chip assay, multiplex liquid-chip assay,cDNA chip). In addition, looked forward to the advantages and disadvantages of these methods and the future development direction of TGEV molecular detection methods, with a view to provide a reference for the early diagnosis and scientific prevention and control of porcine transmissible gastroenteritis.
