Chinese consensus on the diagnosis and management of cerebral amyloid angiopathy(2023 edition)
J Cerebral amyloid angiopathy(CAA)is an age-related cerebral small vessel disease caused by amyloid-β deposition in the wall of cortical and leptomeningeal small vessels.In order to further improve the understanding of clinical diagnosis and treatment of CAA,and promote the standardization of clinical practice,the Chinese Society of Neurology and Chinese Stroke Society have formulated the present consensus.Based on recent high-quality studies,this consensus adopts the grading of recommendations assessment,development and evaluation system,comprehensively weighing safety,efficacy,feasibility and other factors to form corresponding recommendations for 14 clinical issues of great concern on CAA clinical diagnosis,treatment,prognosis evaluation,etc.The ultimate goal of this consensus is to provide guidance to standardize the diagnosis and treatment of CAA in China.
