The historical evolution of the national institute for viral disease control and prevention,chinese center for disease control and prevention(1963-1999)
Since its establishment in 1963,the National Institute for Viral Disease Control and Prevention(China CDC)has been a key player in medical virology research and the prevention and control of viral infectious diseases in China.Since its inception,the institute has provided significant scientific support for viral research and the prevention and control of various viral infectious diseases in the country.This article briefly reviews the multiple institutional reforms and adjustments of the Institute of Virology since its establishment,using the introductions to the institute compiled in 1990 and 1999 as material.This is done to commemorate the 61th anniversary of the institute's founding.
