Regulatory role of non-coding RNA in viral infections:insights for virus prevention and control
Non-coding RNAs(ncRNAs)play a multi-level and multidimensional regulatory role in the process of viral infection, involving multiple aspects such as virus replication, host immune response, cell death, and epigenetic regulation.Different types of ncRNAs such as miRNA,lncRNA,and circRNA regulate host gene expression through various mechanisms, affecting the pathogenicity and transmission ability of viruses. This article systematically reviews the latest research progress of ncRNA in viral infections, focusing on its regulatory mechanisms, characteristics of its role in specific viral infections, and its potential as a target for antiviral therapy.By systematically summarizing relevant research, the complex network of ncRNA in virus host interaction has been revealed, and potential directions for future research have been proposed. In addition, combining the relationship between public health and virus transmission,as well as health management strategies, the importance of ncRNA research in the field of public health was emphasized.
