Research advances in relationship between gastrointestinal diseases and tight junction proteins
Closely connected to the abnormal expression of the tight junction proteins with the occurrence and development of many gastrointestinal diseases,especially,infiltration and metastasis of tumor.Investigating the expression of the tight junction proteins has great significance for the diagnosis,therapy and prognosis of the gastrointestinal neoplasms.In this paper,the research advances in relationship between gastrointestinal diseases and tight junction proteins is reviewed.
