With the development of genomics and imaging genomics,the introduction of big data and artificial intelligence,gastric surgical treatment has gradually stepped into precision medicine.Preci-sion surgical treatment of gastric cancer is based on the accurate molecular typing and staging of gastric cancer by molecular diagnostic and imaging technologies,the formulation of effective and precise individu-alized diagnostic and treatment plans,and the concept of minimally invasive surgery and rapid rehabilitation throughout the diagnosis and treatment.To realize the above precise diagnosis and treatment,it is necessa-ry to continue to study the emerging hotspots of gastric cancer,such as tumor genomics,tumor microenvi-ronment,tumor stem cells,cell autophagy and death,and to explore the emerging minimally invasive tech-niques,such as laparoscopic gastric cancer surgery,robotic surgical system,and indocyanine green tracer technology,as well as the comprehensive treatment approaches,including chemotherapy,targeting and im-munotherapy.
