Research progress in the diacylglycerol kinase ζ in tumor genesis and progression
Diacylglycerol kinase(DGK)plays a significant role in regulating various biological processes by modulating intracellular diacylglycerol levels through multiple mechanisms,affecting cell signaling,growth,membrane transport,differentiation,and migration among various cellular functions.Diacylglycerol kinase ζ(DGKζ),a member of the diacylglycerol kinase family,phosphorylates diacylglycerol(DAG)to convert it into phosphatidic acid(PA),playing a crucial regulatory role in lipid metabolism,immune regulation,and tumor development.This article provides an overview of the structure and physiological functions of DGKζ,its role in tumor development,as well as research progress in relevant targeted drugs and combination therapies.
