Standardized technical specifications for the gut microecolomics laboratory Chinese expert consensus(2022 Edition)
The gut microbiota has an important influence on both the occurrence and development of tumors and the response to treatment,and the timely detection of disease-related microbiota abnormalities through the detection of intestinal flora has significant implications for both the prevention and treatment of disease.In the field of basic and clinical research aimed at gut microecosomics,there is a need to recognize and understand laboratory assays for gut mi-crobiome.There are no uniform standards on the experimental procedures,quality management and report interpreta-tion of the gut microbiome detection techniques,and in order to make clear the standardized technical specifications process for the gut microeomics laboratories,the Professional Committee on Cancer and Microecology of the Chinese Anticancer Association and the Professional Committee on Cancer and Microecology of Hubei Society of Immunology or-ganized the relevant experts and discussed together to propose the Chinese expert consensus on standardized technical specifications for the gut microecology laboratories,which provides a basis for further in-depth studies in the field of gut microecolomics.
