Research progress in clinical application and mechanism of combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of pancreatic cancer
Pancreatic cancer is a highly malignant digestive tract tumor,which is difficult to be diagnosed at an early stage and has low therapeutic effectiveness.Therefore,the incidence rate and mortality of pancreatic cancer are equivalent.At present,the common treatment methods for pancreatic cancer are still surgery,radiotherapy and chemo-therapy,which have some limitations.Advanced pancreatic cancer can not be treated by radical surgery,and radio-therapy and chemotherapy are prone to drug resistance and gastrointestinal side effects.Traditional Chinese medicine has been proved to reduce the side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer,so as to achieve the purpose of strengthening the therapeutic effect.Therefore,the combination of Chinese medicine and western medicine should be more widely used in the clinical treatment of pancreatic cancer.
