Current status and hotspots in neoadjuvant therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma
Surgical excision remains the first choice in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,postoperative tumor recurrence continues to pose a significant challenge.Neoadjuvant therapy,a strategy encompassing preoperative localized or systemic interventions for resectable tumors,holds promise in mitigating recurrence rates and improving patient survival.This review mainly discusses the recent advancements and hotspots within diverse neoadjuvant therapeutic modalities for HCC.
