Value of color Doppler ultrasound,super microvascular imaging and tumor markers in the diagno-sis of benign and malignant breast masses
Objective To investigate the value of color Doppler ultrasound,super microvascular imaging and tumor markers in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast masses.Methods 88 patients with breast mass admitted to the first affiliated hospital of Xinxiang medical college from February 2022 to March 2024 were selected.All patients were examined by color Doppler ultrasound and super microvascular imaging,respectively,and the serum levels of carbohydrate antigen 153(CA153)and carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)were determined.The diagnostic efficacy of color Doppler ultrasound,super microvascular imaging and CA153+CA125 alone and in combination were analyzed with pathological diagnosis as the gold standard.The measurement data were compared by t-test.Results The pathological results showed that among the 88 patients with breast mass,40 were benign and 48 were malignant.The sensitivity,speci-ficity and accuracy of color Doppler ultrasound were 70.83%(34/48),70.00%(28/40)and 70.45%(62/88)in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast masses.The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of super microvascular imaging were 83.33%(40/48),82.50%(33/40)and 82.95%(73/88)in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast masses.The protein levels of CA153[(54.21±21.86)U/ml]and CA125[(43.73±9.88)U/ml]in patients with malignant breast mass were significantly higher than those in patients with benign breast mass[(17.99±7.37),(26.47±9.78)U/ml,t=9.90,8.11,P<0.05];The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of CA153 and CA125 in the diagnosis of benign and malig-nant breast masses were 79.17%(38/48),80.00%(32/40)and 79.55%(70/88)respectively.The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of the three methods in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast masses were 95.83%(46/48),97.50%(39/40)and 96.59%(85/88)respectively.The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of combined diagnosis were significantly higher than those of color Doppler ultra-sound(Z=3.29,2.00,2.47,P<0.05),super microvascular imaging(Z=2.00,2.24,2.99,P<0.05)and CA153+CA125(Z=2.47,2.48,3.49,P<0.05)single detection.Conclusion The com-bined diagnosis of color Doppler ultrasound,super microvascular imaging and tumor markers has high sen-sitivity,specificity and accuracy in the differentiation of benign and malignant breast masses,and can sig-nificantly improve the diagnostic efficiency of benign and malignant breast masses.
