Under the background of the rapid aging of pop-ulation in our country,the community-based elderly care facilities which play an important supporting role for home care have developed rapidly.Based on the data of commu-nity-based elderly care facilities from 867 sites in Beijing,this paper summarizes the construction achievements from numbers,spatial distribution,operation modes,housing conditions and service configurations,not only analyzing problems in the supply of facilities and distribution of el-derly population,but also in construction and later use,and finally,providing constructive suggestions for the future de-velopment of community-based elderly care facilities.
