Analysis of the Distribution of Residents'Activities in Outdoor Public Spaces in Existing Residential Areas and the Influencing Factors:an Example from Taoyuan Village,Shenzhen
Outdoor space in existing residential areas is both unused and insufficient.How to improve the efficiency and quality of outdoor space use is an important issue to be solved in existing residential areas,and the construction of large welfare residential areas in 1980s-1990s is one of the main types of existing residential areas in Shenzhen.The study takes Taoyuan Village as a typical case,records the activity behavior data of residents in 13 group-level outdoor public spaces,and summarizes the distribution character-istics of residents'activities.It also constructs a group of environmental factors indicators in four aspects,including spatial composition,spatial accessibility,activity facilities and landscape environment.The built environment factors affecting the activities of residents at different times and ages were analyzed.From the temporal composite,func-tional composite and crowd composite dimensions,the corresponding environmental optimization strategies are proposed in a targeted manner.
