Research on the Evaluation and Optimization of Old Communities from the Perspective of Community Integration:a Case Study of Gulou in Hohhot
The old communities in the city are usually equipped with rich educational resources and employment opportunities to attract a large number of new urban immigrants. However, after they enter the community, the original social relations are disintegrated, the new relations are difficult to establish, and the sense of participation and integration is low. This paper takes community integration as the starting point, selects the representative Gulou area of Hohhot, and establishes a community integration evaluation system from four aspects:social situation, community activities, community identity and participation in the transformation of the community. The regression analysis method is used to explore the relationship between community integration and spatial elements. The results show that the correlation coefficient between community integration and green space rate is low,and the focus of transformation is the public space between communities, and then the corresponding optimization strategy of public space in old communities is put forward. The research provides a theoretical basis for the integrated community and promotes the harmonious life of the old and new residents.
