Reshaping the Diversity of Daily Life in the Context of Urban Renewal:Memory Space,Community Space and Public Space
The Central Economic Work Conference held in Bei-jing in December 2020 listed"implementing urban renewal ac-tions and promoting the renovation of old urban communities"as one of the important tasks of"adhering to the strategic basis of expanding domestic demand".When China's economic de-velopment enters a period of structural deceleration,it has trig-gered a comprehensive transformation of politics and society,space and culture.As an important measure to promote the improvement of urban functions,industrial structure upgrading,spatial quality optimization and human settlement environment improvement,urban renewal has become the main direction of urban space development and construction.This paper takes"urban renewal"as the background for discussion,combs three interrelated issues of memory space,community space and public space,and explores the possibility of reshaping the diversity of daily life through spatial practice.
