A Study on the Thermal Environment of Outdoor Activity Space in Residential Areas under the Guidance of Elderly Health:Taking Xiyuan New Village in Hefei as an Example
With the acceleration of global climate change and population aging, the elderly,as one of the groups most vulnerable to the negative impacts of the temperature environment, the poor microclimate of community outdoor activity spaces has seriously affected the health of elder-ly residents and the development of outdoor activities. In order to address the increasingly serious health problems of the elderly, this paper clarifies the relationship between spatial thermal environment and elderly health by combing related literature, and conducts a quantitative study on the temperature threshold of elderly health.Taking the thermal environment of outdoor activity spaces in Hefei settlements as the research object, with the goal of improving the health of the elderly, quantitatively analyzing the current situation of the thermal environment in the community by using EN-VI-met software, scientifically assessing the quality of the thermal environment of the activity spaces, screening out outdoor activity spaces that are more suitable for use by elderly residents through the threshold of healthy tempera-tures,and exploring the selection of sites for and optimi-zation of the outdoor activity spaces,in order to provide theoretical basis for the selection, design, and renovation of outdoor activity spaces in the settlements.
