The Research on the Residential Space Patterns and Their Evolution in the Longmen Clan Ancient Village
This study conducted a typological analysis of the residential spaces in the Longmen Clan Ancient Village in Fuyang District,Hangzhou,ZheJiang,from the Ming Dy-nasty to the present,based on fieldwork and a historical and socio-cultural contextual study.The research identified five primary patterns of residential spaces and explored the logic behind their evolution,clearly illustrating the dia-chronic development process of the Longmen Village resi-dences from a clanship aggregation pattern to a host-guest coexisting model.This provides a reference and insight for village space research and contemporary architectural de-sign.
