Researches on the Morphology of Old Industrial Residential Area in West of Zhengzhou Employing Conzenian Approach
Urban regeneration has become an urgent need and inevitable choice for the high-quality development of cities in China.In the practice of renewing old indus-trial residential area,due to the lack of deep cognition of its morphological value,its morphological pattern is often damaged.In order to effectively improve and control its morphology in the process of urban regeneration,this ar-ticle takes Conzenian school of urban morphology as the entry point and the old industrial residential area in western Zhengzhou as the research object.Through the analysis of its morphological generation process and morphological characteristics,this paper further explores the specific sta-tus of the study area in the context of urban regeneration,then sorts out the existing problems,and attempts to con-duct a preliminary analysis of the problems.The research results are expected to provide reference for the future ur-ban regeneration of this area.
