Self-optimization Design of Residential Area Forms Based on Outdoor Thermal Comfort Comprehensive Index
At present,China is implementing a series of strategies to address climate change,and the relationship between residential buildings and outdoor environments is receiving increasing attention.In this context,taking Hefei residential areas as an example,a self-generated experi-ment on the optimal outdoor thermal comfort building form and layout has been carried out,and a technical process for self-optimizing the layout form of residential areas based on the improvement of outdoor thermal comfort has been established,using the Ladybug plugin for multi period out-door thermal comfort simulation and Octopus for multi-ob-jective genetic algorithm for automatic shape optimization.The results indicate that during the research process of 600 generations,the overall outdoor thermal comfort in sum-mer showed a downward trend,while in winter,the over-all outdoor thermal comfort showed an upward trend.The design range for the aspect ratio of the point type should be between 2.5-2.9,and the design range for the aspect ratio of the slab type should be between 3.1-3.5.In terms of building height,multi-story buildings should mainly have 7 floors,and high-rise buildings should have be 29-31 floors.In terms of the rotation angle of the building group,the fo-cus should be on the two indices of-30 degree and 20 de-gree,with the northwest and northeast directions being the main directions.The optimal layout of buildings in winter and summer should meet a base rotation angle of-30 de-gree.The height layout should meet the principle of"high in the south and low in the north,with small height differenc-es".The layout of the open space should face southeast,continuously arranged and combined with water systems and green elements.
