The Strategy for Improving Urban Street Vitality Based on Multi-source Data——Taking Dongting Road of Wuxi as an Example
Urban street is not only the main carrier for communications,but also undertakes diversified needs of urban residents,including outdoor activities,leisure recreation and social interaction,etc.The new urbanization of China has entered a stage of high-quality development,the demand of residents to high-quality life is incessantly increased,street is an open space highly frequently used by urban residents,and improvement of street vitality is conducive to improvement of city scape and improvement of residents'happiness index.This paper takes Dongting Road in Xishan District of Wuxi City as an example,through analysis of interest points and data that include Baidu heat map,etc.,it discusses the features of that street,including its space configuration,function distribution and activity intensity,etc.;meanwhile,combined with off-line investigation,it appraises the demands of street residents and puts forward segmented street space update promotion strategy,so as to provide reference for improving the space quality and refined management of urban street.
