Folding Experiments:New Compound Space Model of Urban Public Institutions under Concept Innovation
In the context of urban development and transformation, the shortage of available construction land has led to the dilemma of different types and even functional conflicts of urban public institutions being concentrated on limited land, which cannot be solved using conventional design ideas. This article attempts to break the constraints of building types and explore a new model of urban public institution composite space from the perspective of public, through the design practice of jointly building archives and community activity centers, and using innovative folding concepts to drive technological integration.
