Urban renewal involves the dynamic game among multi-stakeholders,and researchers utilize social network technology method to perform quantitative analysis to the mutual influence between multi-actor relationship network and renewal practice,so as to provide strategy guidance for renewal practice.This paper performs literature search to the social network method applied by Chinese scholars in the field of urban renewal,aimed at the application of literature in relevant theory on social network and technical method,it discusses the present situation,effectiveness and shortcoming of the application of social network method in research of urban renewal,and it explores the future development tendency.It is found through research:social network method can disclose actor relationship,power structure and information flow,evaluate the contribution and influence of actor on renewal,promote negotiation and cooperation as well as expedite sustainable renewal,it has broad application potential in research of urban renewal,the construction of theoretical framework can be strengthened in future research,and it can be combined with new technique,so as to improve data collection and analysis capabilities,and provide more scientific and effective decision-making support for the practice of urban renewal.
