Application of Use Diagnosis for the Urban Waterfront Public Space Based on Model of Usage Demand and Spatial Preference
The measurement analysis technique for digital agent can help designer to better grasp the circumstance of space use. This paper explores the agent measurement method for the using behavior of urban waterfront public activity venues, and it more closely combines the space analysis, diagnosis, optimization and the demand preference of residential users.Taking the waterfront public space at north Bund before and after transformation as an example, this paper utilizes cluster analysis to form user scenario demand model, utilizes binary regression analysis to form micro selection model,so as to perform inductive simulation to the demand proportion of surrounding users in six kinds of activities, including waterfront, landscape, resting, consumption, culture and physical training.According to the simulation result, the centralized and compound use characteristics of its space near to or far from water and local space congestion problem are found, and the directional effect of increase in space scale and rich types of facilities on activity homogenization is verified, and optimization measures are further put forward, such as near-water spatial scale amplification, diversification of space facilities and convenience of transportation network, etc.
