Landscape Morphology and Spatial Structure of Longji Village
Longji village is a typical representative for rice-cultivated settlement groups of the ethnic minorities in North of Guilin.This paper focused on the landscape morphology and spatial structure,and combined with the static perspective of typical elements of a single settlement and the dynamic perspective adjusted due to settlement groups development to analyze the characteristics of the external landscape construction of Longji village in the aspects of integrality and relatedness.The distinctive features of single settlement are gentle slope micro-topography selection,markers with rich meanings,various forms of piazza and series-wound road systems.Settlement shows adjustment due to agglomeration in the process of cluster development,which is specifically manifested as production adjustment under rice cultivation and the polycentric pattern of ethnic and clan mixing.
