摘要

打造步行友好的街道空间属于城市设计领域的核心议题,与居民的生活品质紧密关联.20世纪以来,学界已对此进行诸多探讨,并就优质街道的特征形成了定性的共识,明确强调了街道界面连续性的重要性,但定性描述的模糊性仍然会给城市设计者带来困扰.对此,文章从街道界面密度和街道界面平齐参数两个指标切入,整理30个欧洲地区的步行友好街道样本,对其街道界面的连续性进行精确的描述与统计分析,并对这些步行友好街道界面的特征及其随历史时期演进的规律进行定量的总结.研究发现:随历史时期推移,步行友好街道界面密度存在下降趋势,但仍普遍高于75.00%,而街道界面平齐参数则趋于稳定.研究结果可为当代城市设计实践提供参考.

Abstract

Forging the pedestrian-friendly street space is the core topic in the domain of urban design,and it is closely correlated to the life quality of residents.Since the 20th Century,that topic has been discussed from time to time in the academic circle,and a qualitative consensus has been formed on the features of quality streets.The importance of the continuity of street interface is explicitly stressed,but the fuzziness of qualitative description might still bring about puzzle to urban designer.There,from two indexes including street interface density and street interface flush parameter,this paper sorts out 30 pedestrian-friendly street samples in European regions,performs accurate description and statistical analysis to the continuity of street interface,and performs quantitative summary to the features of those pedestrian-friendly street interfaces and the regular pattern of their evolution along with historical period.It is found through research:with the passage of historical period,the interface density of pedestrian-friendly street had the tendency of decrease,but it was still universally higher than 75.00%,and the street interface flush parameter tends to be stable.The research result can be reference for contemporary urban design practice.
