Preliminary Discussion to the Building Form of Ming and Qing Ancestral Temple Building at Fuhe River Watershed in East Jiangxi
With the change in patriarchal ritual system and the development of clan power in the Ming Dynasty,large quantities of ancestral halls were constructed in Jiangxi Region,and that phenomenon was particularly typical at Fuhe River watershed in east Jiangxi.By means of reading literature,field investigation as well as summary and comparison,etc.,this paper analyzes the type,site selection,layout,plane form,architecture pattern and construction node of ancestral temple at Fuhe River watershed,performs research and investigation to the form of ancestral temple building and their regional evolution feature,so as to provide scientific reference to the protection and development of ancestral temple building as heritage of the Ming and Qing Dynasties at Fuhe River watershed and relevant region.
