On the Parts of Song and Yuan of Huang Zongxi's Lixue Lu Manuscripts
In a long period of time,Lixue Lu by Huang Zongxi was deemed to be"lost".It could be seen as a preparation work,as well as the earliest form of Huang's Song Yuan Xue'an and Ming Ru Xue'an.Therefore,the rediscovery of the Lixue Lu manuscripts has great significance and value:First,it helps us understand the fading process of Huang's orthodox consciousness of Neo-Confucianism,as well as the occurrence and evolution of xue'an style;Second,it shows the difference between Quan Zuwang and the descendants of the Huang family,both of them have inherited Huang's work and made breakthrough;Third,it reveals the content change process of Song Yuan Xue'an,which went through three stages:the history of Neo-Confucianism——the history of thoughts——the compilation of historical materials and documents;Fourth,it unearthed many truths covered by the popular 100-volumes version of the Song Yuan Xue'an,which is conducive to solve mysteries and correct errors;Fifth,seeing through the manuscripts,we could seize the generating process of Song Yuan Xue'an,as well as the turn and evolution of intellectual history in the early Qing Dynasty and the Qianjia,Daoguang period.
